The developer of Dress to Impress has removed the hot dog costume from its costume lineup after some players used it to deliberately dress their characters like a giant penis.
If you don’t know yet, Dress to Impress is a dress-up fashion game on Roblox that has skyrocketed in popularity since its launch a year ago. Generally speaking, it’s a fairly simple way for players to pass the time while attending a fashion show wearing a range of fun fashionable outfits.
At least that was the case until the recent introduction of hot dog costumes as part of a Halloween collection. Basically, when certain players get the hot dog costume, they change the color palette and put on a flesh-colored hat to make their character look like they’re wearing a special phallic suit.

Of course, Catwalk Willy’s sudden rise caught the attention of the creators of Dress to Impress.
“We want to create a safe and welcoming environment for our players, but we have no intention of using it in this manner,” the game’s development manager wrote on October 21. At this point, only the threat of taking off the costume was mentioned.

However, this warning did not work, sorry, I meant trick.
As a result, the hot dog costume has now been temporarily removed from Dress to Impress. After all, Roblox is, at least on the surface, a platform for kids.

“Just updating in case you haven’t seen it yet. The hot dog costume will be temporarily removed from (Dress to Impress) due to inappropriate use,” the game’s community manager wrote on social media platform X. “We plan to bring it back later but will limit how it can be colored/combined with other items to reduce this.”
While the team did what needed to be done to ensure there would never be another Willis debuting on the runway in the future, they have replaced the hot dog costume with a hopefully less suggestive cupcake costume, which you can watch below See.
