Nintendo Switch Online members will soon be able to get three full games as part of a free trial.
These games are Minecraft Dungeons spin-offs, cozy puzzlers A Little Left, and Cursed Golf, which drop you into the dungeon-like holes of Golf Inferno (of course ).
At the time of its initial release, we called Minecraft Dungeons “the most promising Minecraft spin-off released to date.”
Our Tom wrote in Eurogamer’s 2020 Minecraft Dungeons review: “While Minecraft Dungeons sounds like an unlikely concept – a more accessible version of Diablo Gods” and Creepers, but it ultimately felt like a natural extension of the formula. “The stuff above is brilliant.
Meanwhile, our A Little Left review praised the game’s “clever puzzle design.” Overall, however, the game was seen as “inconsistent with the organizational creativity” the developers hoped to evoke.
Last but not least, we are cursed with golf. Donlan tried a demo of the game a few years ago and was hooked.
“I think it’s a smart game. Spin on a platformer and it doesn’t feel like a platformer at all. The Inferno golf holes proved difficult. They zigzag up and down, so you want to land on the fairway with your ball The first shot might be underneath you, or it might be blocked by TNT, or the fans might push the ball away,” he wrote in Eurogamer’s Cursed Gold feature.
These three games will be available to Nintendo Switch Online members starting tomorrow (October 23) for a week until October 30. Did something catch your attention?
